- Temples shut down on Mondays, so skip that day. If you want to see Borobudur Temple, you’ve got a window from 6:30 in the morning till 1:00 in the afternoon, Tuesday through Sunday. It doesn’t matter if you’re starting from YIA Airport, your hotel, or the train station in Yogyakarta—pick your own starting point and time.
- Wear comfy clothes, and don’t forget walking shoes. You’ll thank yourself later.
- Every tour is private, and we’ll pick you up or drop you off wherever you want in Yogyakarta or at YIA Airport. If you want to start or finish your day in another city, just let us know and we’ll sort it out.
- We handle pickups and drop-offs at hotels, train stations, and the airport as part of the deal. If you need to go beyond the city, we can arrange that too (it just costs a bit extra).
- Bring some Indonesian rupiah with you—most hotels and restaurants take cards, but in smaller shops or out in the countryside, cash is king. Make sure your bills are good to go.
- Hungry while you’re out? Tell your driver when you want to stop for food. They’re locals and love pointing out their favorite spots. Just a heads up: meals aren’t included in the tour price.
